Zusammenfassung: | A method of steel production in an oxygen converter from solid metallic Fe-carriers, in which a charge containing the solid metallic Fe-carriers and a solid energy-carrier is loaded into the converter in three portions, the charge being heated after loading of each portion and being melted until the finished steel is obtained. The first portion contains from 30 to 50% by weight of the total solid energy-carrier needed for the melting process and from 50 to 60% by weight of the total Fe-carriers, the second portion - from 48 to 52% by weight of the total remaining Fe-carriers, and the third portion - the balance of the Fe-carriers and of the solid energy-carrier. The ratio of the specific consumptions of the oxidizer in the upper and lower parts of the converter is respectively equal, after the loading of the first portion, to 1:(1.5/2), and after the loading of the second portion, to 1:(0.9/1), whereas the consumption of the oxidizer for the heating of each of the first two portions of the charge is equal to 15 to 25% by weight of the total oxidizer needed for the melting process. |
