Manufacture of oil

A process for the manufacture of synthetic crude oil characterised by (a) mixing natural gas with a recycle stream (the stream from point (f) below) (b) removing acid gas from the mixture (c) partially oxidising the stream from point (b) (d) utilising the stream from point (c) to synthesis crude oil (e) passing tail gas obtained in synthetic crude oil synthesis step (d) through a carbon monoxide shift unit (f) recycling the sifted stream resulting from point (e), to mix with the natural gas as described in point (a) above. e
