| Zusammenfassung: | A corrugated feed horn for a microwave reflector antenna has its corrugations formed by a series of grooves (2) comprising three sets a, b and c which are of different depths and which are interspersed with each other so that the grooves progressively increase and decrease in depth in successive groups (3) along the horn, following a substantially sinusoidal wave pattern (4). The depths of the grooves (2) in each set a, b or c, decrease progressively from the throat (5) to the aperture (6) of the horn so that the wave pattern (4) attenuates slightly towards the aperture. Such a horn has good wide band, low cross polar, performance characteristics. |
