Zusammenfassung:	Respective transducers 1-4 are arranged to detect a variation in a parameter and to provide an electrical output signal representative thereof to means 9 coupling the signal to a display 19 either under the control of a manually operated switching arrangement or an automatic scanning arrangement which identifies a detected variation and causes it to be displayed. The arrangement is applied to the output of double-grating transducers sensing linear and rotational movement of machine parts in a wheel dressing or trimming grinding machine.
