Improvements relating to the Utilisation of Combustible Gaseous Mixtures

Regulating rate of flow. - An arrangement of valves for supplying a combustible gaseous mixture to a furnace a, such as that described in Specification 2839/12, [Class 51 (i), Furnaces and kilns, Combustion apparatus of], comprises a double-ported mixing plug cock f and separate independent valves d, e on the conduits of each constituent. The casing of the cock f has two inlets b, c and a single outlet g, and the plug has two communicating - passages i, j controlled by screw plugs k, l for correctly adjusting the proportions of the two gases. Either or both gases can be controlled or shut off by the valves d, e without affecting the adjustment at the cock f.
