Levels and plumbing-instruments; clinometers.- Relates to a level, plumbing-instrument, and inclination-indicating device which may be used vertically or horizontally and may be applied to telescopes, surveying-instruments, &c. or used to determine the pitch of roofs &c. The usual weighted pointer f, mounted in an opening in a casing or block a, indicates the inclination ori a double scale b of V-section.
