Filing papers &c.-A temporary binder for loose leaves such as order sheets, accounts, samples, maps, and the like comprises two parts to which the covers are attached, the lower part carrying posts B upon which the leaves are held and the upper part A carrying means for locking it upon the posts so that it may press upon the leaves. The bar A consists of a recessed lower member in which slides a bar e, and an upper member f in which is mounted a disk h capable of rotation by a key or other device. The dish h has on its underside an eccentric h which engages a slot in the bar e, and when the disk is rotated the bar e is caused to slide and grip the posts B, the bar being slotted at g. The hole in which the disk h rotates is liued with metal. [Reference has been directed under Patents Act. 19U2, to Specification No. 8251, A.D. 1905.] |
