Zusammenfassung: | 10,373. Wildermann, M., and Mond, R. L. May 7. Chronographs. - Relates more especially to chronographs o f the type described in Specification No. 19,181, A.D. 1897. The screwed spindle f turns in a half-nut s, the coaxial spindle has a feather m instead of a groove, the wheel k thereon is supported by antifriction rollers n engaging a groove r in its hub, and the tracing-arm h is counterbalanced by a nut v on a screw u. The tracer 7, Fig. 4, operated through wires or links 2, x and a bell crank, by means of an electromagnet i, Fig. 1, as previously, is carried by a small slide 5, on guide-rods 6 with springs. Having a spring clip, the tracer is, preferably, hinged to the slide. To give different speeds, change wheels may be provided in place of the wheel k, and the clockwork d is controlled by a fly governor e, preferably of the type described in Specification No. 17,466, A.D. 1899, [Abridgment Class Governors &c.]. The drum may be mounted so that it can be turned to give a convenient starting point. The screw spindle being divided by an insulating-coupling, two pens and electrical connections may be worked independently. A vertical arrangement with ball-bearings is described. |
