From the pocket E the steam passes through inlet ports I' in the port cylinder R to. the buckets A , and is exhausted through ports D' to the pocket E which communicates by ports I with the buckets A . Discharge ports D communicate with the pocket E , and ports I convey the steam to the buckets A , which exhaust through ports in the cylinder R to the chamber D . The buckets a', a', a are similarly supplied and exhausted. The casing B is preferably made in sections B', B', B , b , b , 63, and partitions C , C , C , C , c , c , c , rigidly secured together. The inlet and discharge ports are alternately opened and closed as the centre rotates.
