A number of such compounds are listed. The emulsion may also contain a development accelerator, e.g. a polyoxyalkylene compound, sensitizers and other conventional stabilizers and additives. The compounds may be used as 0À1-30 mg per mole of silver halide, and may be added at any stage during the emulsion preparation.
