Continuous - discharge apparatus with stationary containers. - In obtaining a dry product from milk, the concentrated milk is fed intc one end of a vessel 12 provided with a steam - jacket 13 and divided by transverse parti. tions 12 having openings 17 with adjustable, bars 17 . Each compart ment contains a mixer 19 and i: fitted with pipes 14 to inject air, which may be mixed with steam. The upper layers pass from one compartment to the next, and the mass is discharged from the last compartment and conveyed to a heated drying-chamber.
