Zusammenfassung:	The terminal (10) has a sheath support body (14) including support surfaces (30a, 32a) with a sheath stop plate (12). A slide (18) axially moves between an extended end position and a closed end position with respect to the support body and locks the support body on the stop plate. An elastic unit (20) axially stresses the slide in direction of the support surfaces. The support body includes a detection unit (22) detecting an axial position with respect to the support body for detecting the locking of the terminal on the plate.
