Zusammenfassung:	A mechanical friction component, tribologically stressed in a non-lubricated mode, incorporates, at least at the part of the component to be subjected to friction, a zone of an aluminium based alloy containing 0.1 to 15% by weight of iron and one or more elements chosen from vanadium, silicon, cerium, molybdenum, chromium and/or titanium. Independent claims are also included for : (A) the production of the component by casting; (B) the aluminium based alloy used in the casting of the component. Pièce de friction mécanique sollicitée tribologiquement en mode non lubrifié comportant, au moins au niveau de la partie de la pièce amenée à être soumise à une friction, une zone d'alliage à base d'aluminium, comprenant de 0,1 à 15 % en poids de Fe et un ou plusieurs éléments choisis parmi V, Si, Ce, Mo, Cr et/ou Ti.
