Window or French window with opener frame of aluminum and plastic extrusions

A casement window or French window has a fixed frame of aluminum with or without a thermal bridge break, and an opener with its frame made from inner aluminum (7) and outer plastic (9) extrusions, the latter providing thermal insulation. The connecting wall of the aluminum and plastic extrusions is situated at a distance (Dp) from the frame rebate such that the distance (Dv) between the plane (P) of the joint and the outer surface of the glazed panel (10) is smaller than the thickness (Lv) of the glazed panel. The plastic extrusion can have an L-shaped cross section, with at least one tenon on one branch to engage with channel(s) in the aluminum extrusion and fitted with a beading on the other. La fenêtre ou porte-fenêtre comprend un dormant (1) réalisé en profil aluminium avec ou sans rupture de pont thermique et un profil (2) constituant le cadre d'ouvrant.Ce profil (2) est en fait un profil structurel mixte comprenant une partie interne en aluminium et une partie externe en matériau plastique.Le profil plastique (9) forme une isolation thermique à l'extrémité de la feuillure. Sa largeur est inférieure à la largeur ou l'épaisseur du vitrage ou panneau de remplissage selon le cas.Par ailleurs, le profil structurel de l'ouvrant est organisé autour de la chambre (25) dans laquelle se positionnent les branches des équerres d'assemblage d'angles, de façon à accueillir des vitrages ou panneaux de remplissage d'épaisseurs différentes par une simple modification de la position de la contrefeuillure (22), sans rien changer au gabarit dudit profil structurel.
