Dispositif destiné à améliorer l'évaluation des performances de lubrifiants par mise en charge d'une pièce fixe (11) sur une pièce mobile (12), les deux pièces étant en contact ponctuel, linéaire ou surfacique en présence du lubrifiant à tester caractérisé en ce qu'un vérin (8) agit sur une des pièces, un capteur d'effort (9) mesurant en permanence la force appliquée et la transmettant à un dispositif de régulation agissant sur le fluide de commande du vérin de façon à ce qu'elle soit maintenue sensiblement égale à une consigne programmable, fixe ou variable dans le temps.
