| description | Extending sideways from a bottle conveyor (5) is a distributor (4) onto which bottles can be diverted towards e.g. a packing machine. Rows of bottles are guided onto the distributor by curved guides to travel in a direction (9) at right angles to the conveyor along a path (10) into a channel (3) divided by separator plates into e.g. fire lines. Excess bottles are guided sideways from the path (10) for recirculation. The leading curved guide is followed by a straight part with an inwardly sloping section (19) at the entry to the discharge channel (3), the separator plates being staggered diagonally to give the excess bottles towards a side extension (4) with a return band and a side guide with its end (11) bent inwards to assist recirculation.
