description The pressure regulating system uses a pulse monitor mounted at opposite ends of the engine, connected to an electronic control unit. Charging pressure is then regulated by valves connected to opposite sides of the compressor and exhaust turbine of the supercharger. A charging pressure sensor on the air distributor is also connected to the control unit to form an actual value signal source. The control circuit includes two memories (e.g. ROM, PROM or EPROM) connected by an equaliser to a regulator and a limiter stage to control the pressure within required limits. The control unit also receives engine shaft positioning signals. a.
