description A twisting and forming rotor for a spindle-less spinning machine offers increased fibre draughting, without increasing the speed of disc rotation, and without increasing the intensity of air suction. An annular projection (5) is provided on the central part of the disc (1) which increases the frictional force preventing the movement of narrow strips of fibres into the axial evacuation channel (3). Tension increases on the thicker parts of the fibre strips, and the draughting and re-arrangement of the fibres avoids breakages. The disc avoids unfavourable redistribution of fibres along the length of the fibre strips. A stong and regular yarn is produced.
