Zusammenfassung: | A sprinkler for a granulator tower through which molten material can be sprayed has a chamber with a perforated bottom to which the feed line for the molten material to be granulated is joined. The chamber is partitioned into independent compartments, each of which is delimited by a section of the perforated bottom, and each of which is connected by a feed pipe which can be closed to the main feed line for the molten material. The distributor feed lines may be connected to the main feed line by a pressure chamber with a double wall and a circulating system. These feed pipes have vertical sections extending into the pressure chamber with their inlets at different heights and fitted with float controlled valves. The specific loading of the perforated bottom can be fully controlled so that a product with a uniform granular size can be obtd. Compartments can be closed so as to control the loading on the perforated bottom and maintain the pressure on the material stream through the perforations at a constant value, despite variation in delivery speed of material.
