Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to N3-thioacyl semicarbazides of the formula wherein R1 is hydrogen, C1-6 alkyl, polyfluorinated C1-6 alkyl, phenyl, multisubstituted phenyl wherein the substituents are C1-6 alkyl, C1-3 alkoxy, chloro, fluoro and/or trifluoromethyl, naphthyl, thienyl, phenylthio, tetrahydropyranyl, benzyl or -COOC2H5, and R2 is amino or C1-3 alkoxy. Compounds according to the invention are useful intermediates in the preparation of 1,2,3-thiadiazole-4- thiolates. 1,2,3-thiadiazoles are themselves useful intermediates in the production of cephalosporins.
