The diaphragm 42 of bag 12 is punctured and the plasma thawed. The thawed plasma is passed through filter 30 leaving a factor VIII-rich cryoprecipitate in bag 12. Precipitate may be removed from the filter 30 by washing with saline solution or by squeezing. |
