Off-line tyyppisen paperikoneen tuotantolinjan modifiointiratkaisu

The invention is relates to paper machines and its object is a method of modifying an off-line type paper machine production line, which is meant for production of an uncoated paper web of SC quality. The unmodified production comprises subsequent drying part and finishing part. The paper web which comes from the drying part (1) is reeled in the reeling unit (2) of the machine reel as a machine reel. The paper web is then drawn by an off-reeling unit (3) to be taken forward in the production line. According to the invention for accomplishing a finishing part of a production line that is applicable to production of an coated paper web, especially for the production of the paper web of the LWC quality, the reeling unit of the machine reel and the off-reeling unit of the machine reel are removed from the unmodified off-line production line and the removed units are replaced by a coating unit (5), whereby the web runs in the modified finishing part from the drying unit without interruption directly to the coating unit and further without interruption selectively via an after-drying unit (6) or directly to a calander unit (4), which is modified applicable with the modified finishing part and which is followed by a reeling unit (8).
