Hydroprocessing C of the naphtha fraction gives rise to hydrogenated naphtha fraction (60) which is suitable as a feed for a steam cracker D. The distillation bottom (50) and the middle fraction (40) can mixed with crude oil (70) and used in oil refinerery since they are predominantly free from diolefins. Esillä oleva keksintö koskee menetelmiä nesteytettyjen jätepolymeerien (LWP, 10) prosessoimiseksi, jotka käsittävät diolefiineja ja naftaa. Diolefiinien vetykäsittely A tuottaa diolefiinipuutoksellisen LWP-syötteen (20), joka erotetaan tislauksella B muodostaen yhden tai useamman tisleen, joka käsittää (jotka käsittävät) ainakin naftafraktion (30), valinnaisen keskifraktion (40) ja tislauspohjan (50). Naftafraktion vetyprosessointi C muodostaa hydrogenoidun naftafraktion (60), joka on sopiva syötteenä höyrykrakkausyksikköön D.
