The precipitate is resuspended in a solution of skimmed milk at 20 per cent. It is then placed into ampules, deep-frozen and lyophilized. The product is stored at ambient temperature. The lyophil is rehydrated with sterile sea water. Directly added to the culture water are phytoplankton, artemia and rotifer, controlling the bacterial populations in them. In the case of artemia and rotifer, bio-encapsulation can be obtained. That is to say, the supply of the probiotic to larval cultures and those post-larval via the food.
