The method is for the identification of micro-organisms based on amplification of deoxyribonucleic acid of such organisms. The samples thus obtained are compared with a group of samples representative of different micro-organisms at the level of species, in which the obtaining of the samples involves placing into contact the deoxyribonucleic acid of the micro-organisms with a mixture for the enzymatic amplification of the deoxyribonucleic acid which comprises one or more initiators with a longitude included between 18 and 30 nucleotides each of them, in a concentration of at least 0.1 micro-M of each of them. The initiators are designed on the basis of sequences of rDNA, and in which the ring formation is effected at a temperature between 5 and 15 degrees Celsius below the temperature of hybridation of the initiators. |
