COMPOSICION LIMPIADORA DE DENTADURAS POSTIZAS

Una composición limpiadora de dentaduras postizas para disolución en agua para formar un baño limpiador que tiene un pH no mayor que 4, 5, que comprende: i) 10 a 40% en peso de uno o más agentes blanqueantes; ii) 10 a 50% en peso de un agente eliminador de sarro, siendo ácido cítrico y ácido málico en combinación; y iii) 5 a 25% en peso de carbonatos y/o bicarbonatos. The composition contains at least one bleaching agent, at least one tartar removal agent, and at least one carbonate or bicarbonate. Preferably, the active agents are present as visually discrete particles.The composition is more stable than compositions having bisulfate as a tartar removal agent and avoids the unpleasant taste due to bisulfate. Potassium monopersulfate is an effective bleaching agent. Sodium bicarbonate and carbonate act as pH regulators and as effervescence agents to avoid gradient formation in the bath and to help remove particles from the dentures.
