A monoclonal antibody (MAb), binding exclusively to the CK-MB (creatine-kinase muscle-specific brain-specific) isoenzyme and not to the B and M subunits or the MM or BB isoenzyme, is new. The MAb binds in an equiv. manner to the binding of MAbs DSM ACC 2058 or 2060. The MAb is obtainable by (i) immunisation of A/J-mice (H-2 haplotype) with CK-MB isoenzyme using aluminium hydroxide as an adjuvant, (ii) immortalisation of mice spleen cells, and (iii) cloning of cells producing an MAb which binds exclusively to CK-MB and cannot be displaced by the "Conan-MB-antibody" (ATCC HB 8939). Also claimed are: (1) a MAb as above, which binds in an equiv. manner to MAbs DSM ACC 2057 or 2059; the MAb has an affinity of at least 1 x 10 mol x 1 to the CK-MB an is obtd. by performing (i) to (iii) above followed by Mab isolation; and (2) hybridoma cell lines DSM ACC 2057-2060. |
