Zusammenfassung:	A passenger lift assembly (100) includes a spine (106) defining a motion path, a lift mechanism (108) attached to the spine and configured to travel along the motion path, and a plurality of branch subassemblies (110) attached to the spine, each branch subassembly including at least one leg (122) configured to engage an upstanding wall (112) of a seat shell (102) positioned in relation to a passenger seat (104). In use, the passenger lift assembly (100) temporarily mounts to a seat shell (102) positioned in relation to the seat (104) to facilitate transfer of a passenger, suspended by the lift mechanism (108), from the wheelchair to the seat (104), and collapses for compact stowing between uses. The passenger lift assembly (100) is particularly well suited for use with seats surrounded by upstanding walls and curved pathways extending from an aisle to a seat.
