PCB TERMINATION CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF CONNECTING SUCH PCB TERMINATION CONNECTOR

A PCB termination connector configured to be mounted onto a PCB. The PCB termination connector comprises an electrical contact 100, wherein the electrical contact 100 comprises at least a contact section 110 and a tail section 120 suitable for insertion through a through-hole of the PCB (figure 2a, 105), wherein the tail section 120 is configured to deform upon insertion of a deforming member 160 into the tail section 120 such that a dimension of the tail section 120 is configured to increase. The electrical contact 100 may comprise a hollow cavity (figure 2a, 150) configured to receive the deforming member 160, and wherein the tail section 120 comprises an open end (figure 1b, 121) to facilitate insertion of the deforming member 160. The tail section 120 may comprise a ribbed portion (figure 1b, 122) located on or near an upper area of the tail section 120, wherein the ribbed portion (figure 1b, 122) is configured to create a contact point to contact a wall of the through-hole of the PCB (figure 2a, 105).
