Zusammenfassung:An electronic device according to one embodiment disclosed herein comprises: a camera; a sensor which can sense the distance between the electronic device and an object; a display; a light-emitting module which generates a flash corresponding to a first light emission and/or a second light emission when capturing an image using the camera; and at least one processor electrically connected to the camera, the sensor, the light-emitting module, and the display. The at least one processor: displays an image obtained by driving the camera as a preview image on the display; determines a main object included in the preview image; executes a first mode when the distance between the main object and the electronic device as sensed through the sensor is less than a threshold value, the first mode being a mode for image capture using the first light emission; and executes a second mode when the distance between the main object and the electronic device as sensed through the sensor is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the second mode being a mode for image capture using the first light emission and the second light emission which occurs subsequent to the first light emission. Various other embodiments identified through the specification are also possible.
