description According to the present disclosure, there is provided a device which can have a funnel catheter having an expandable distal tip. The funnel catheter can originally be placed in a collapsed configuration for delivery through vasculature to a target thrombus location. Once positioned, the expandable tip can be radially expanded to create a funnel for aspirating or retrieving clots from a vessel.
