According to the invention, a collecting device (14) is additionally provided in the protective region (8), wherein the collecting device (14) is connected to the sensors (10-13) and obtains measurement values of the process variables from the sensors (10-13), and the collecting device is also connected to the transmission system (21) in order to transmit the measurement values of the sensors (10-13) to the data interface (16).
