Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a zirconia sintered body that has high strength and is machinable. The present invention relates to a zirconia sintered body comprising zirconia, a stabilizing agent capable of preventing a phase transformation of zirconia, a sintering aid, and a needle-shaped metal oxide. Preferably, the sintering aid comprises niobium pentoxide, and the content of the niobium pentoxide is 5 to 15 parts by mass with respect to total 100 parts by mass of the zirconia and the stabilizing agent. Preferably, the stabilizing agent comprises yttria, and the content of the yttria is 2.5 to 10 mol% with respect to the total number of moles of the zirconia and the yttria.
