Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for producing at least one assembly by welding, in particular by diffusion welding, and to the use of a separating means. In a method for producing at least one assembly (12) by welding, at least two components (10) are joined together by application of a force (F) acting along an axis (20). Adjacent objects (15) which are arranged along the axis (20) and which are not to be joined together are kept separate from one another using a separating means (30). The separating means (30) comprises fibers or graphene. A separating means of this kind does not penetrate into the surface, does not impair the quality of the surface, and, after the joining operation, can be removed from the surface easily and without leaving any residue.
