Zusammenfassung:Disclosed in the present application are an electronic document editing method and apparatus, and a device and a storage medium, wherein same are applied to the field of office automation. The method comprises: by means of an insertion collaboration entry, which is provided by a first client, on a first computer device, opening, in a second client, a second editing interface for an electronic document, wherein the insertion collaboration entry is used for inserting a multimedia file into the electronic document in collaboration with the first client; acquiring a multimedia file to be inserted; and inserting the multimedia file into a first insertion position in the second editing interface. By means of the present application, only a few simple operations are required to realize the capability of quickly and precisely inserting a multimedia file.
