Zusammenfassung:	Flap devices are known which comprise: a flow housing (14) having an adjustable flow cross-section (18); an actuator (12); a flap body (36); a shaft (34) on which the flap body (36) is fastened and which can be rotated by the actuator (12); and a separate sealing ring (20) which is fastened in the flow housing (14) and surrounds the adjustable flow cross-section (18) and against which the flap body (36) abuts in order to close the flow cross-section (18). According to the invention, in order to prevent freezing in frosty conditions, the sealing ring (20) has an at least partially annular contact surface (50) to a heating element (48).
