Zusammenfassung:	Described is a method for producing an attachment strip (1) for fixing onto a decorative panel (2), e.g. an edge strip for coating the narrow surface of a furniture panel or the like, having a structured surface as the visible side, wherein a strip element (6) made of thermoplastic material is created and wherein a strip structure is embossed into the strip surface of the strip element (6) by means of at least one embossing means, characterised in that a structured web (7) is used as the embossing means, which structured web is provided with a structured embossing surface (8) and by means of which the structure (5) is embossed into the strip surface.
