Zusammenfassung:A low-temperature processable aliphatic polyester having 3-hydroxybutryates (3HB) and 4-hydroxybutyrates (4-HB) as basic repeated structures and an adjusted content of 4-hydroxybutyrates (4HB) is described. Articles based on the aliphatic polyesters are described and include a biodegradable wax, a medical device, a low-temperature hot melt, a non-woven cloth, a bioplastic, a drug carrier, a medical wrap, a medical fiber, a medical filament, a medical stent, or an orthopedic prosthesis. Methods for preparing the aliphatic polyesters are described.
