Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a glass forming machine, a method for lubricating a baffle and a swabbing device for a glass forming machine.A glass forming machine comprises a blank station with a blank mould (1) for forming a parison (14) from a gob of molten glass (9) inside the blank mould (1). The glass forming machine further comprises a baffle (33) for closing the blank mould (1). The glass forming machine further comprises a swabbing device which is configured to spray lubricant onto the baffle (33) for lubricating the baffle (33). This enables a particularly high quality of the formed parisons and the corresponding glass containers.
