description The present invention relates to a mounting assembly (100) for electrical busway (112). The mounting assembly (100) comprises a first mounting bracket (102), a second mounting bracket (104), and a third mounting bracket (106) to mount and thereby align the electrical busways (112) in both edgewise and flat wise orientation. In edgewise orientation, the second mounting bracket (104) is adjustably attached to a hanger rod (108), and thereupon the first mounting bracket (102) and second mounting bracket (104) are engaged. In flat orientation, the first mounting bracket (102) and third mounting bracket (106) are deployed. The third mounting bracket (106) is adjustably attached to a beam member (110). In both orientations, the first mounting bracket (102) provided with omega profiled slotted hole (118), is adjustably attached to the electrical busway (112).
