Zusammenfassung:	One aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a method of delivering the RNAi agents to or through a skin. Another aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a method of reducing expression or translation of a target gene within a stratum corneum layer, an epidermis layer, a dermis layer, a subcutaneous tissue layer, or a muscle tissue. Another aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a topical composition, comprising the RNAi agents or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and an ionic liquid in an amount sufficient to allow a therapeutically effective amount of the RNAi agents to reach a target depth within or beyond the skin.
