Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a ventilation duct component (1) for a ventilation duct of a ventilation system. The component (1) has a duct portion (K) with a flat duct cross section (Q), the maximum width B of which between a first inner surface (A1) and a second inner surface (A2) opposite said first inner surface (A1) is greater than the maximum height H thereof between a third inner surface (A3) and a fourth inner surface (A4) opposite said third inner surface (A3). The component (1) has a first opening (O1) at the first end (E1) thereof and a second opening (O2) at the second end (E2) thereof. The duct portion (K) contains within its interior at least one supporting member (W) that extends between the third inner surface (A3) and the fourth inner surface (A4) along the direction of the height H of the duct portion (K).
