Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure relates to a process for obtaining an enantiomeric mixture of Indoxacarb crystals having purity in the range of 95% to 99.5%, wherein the enantiomeric mixture comprises crystals of R-isomer and S-isomer. The S-isomer crystals are present in an amount in the range of 75% to 90% of the enantiomeric mixture. The raw material used is crude Indoxacarb comprising impurities in an amount in the range of 10 wt.% to 15 wt.%. The process of the present disclosure is simple, economical, gives relatively high purity of Indoxacarb crystals than crude Indoxacarb and avoids deterioration in the amount of the active S-isomer.
