Zusammenfassung:	A drive device includes a drive signal generator configured to generate a drive signal for driving a high-frequency treatment tool that is electrically connected to the drive signal generator; a first buffer circuit configured to input the drive signal to reduce a load on the drive signal generator; a first switching element configured to repeatedly turn on and off the drive signal that is output from the first buffer circuit at a drive frequency for driving the high-frequency treatment tool or higher; a first radiation material that has a longitudinal axis and that is arranged to face the first switching element; a fan configured to generate an airflow; and a casing configured to house the drive signal generator, the first switching element, the first radiation material and the fan, wherein the first switching element and the first radiation material are configured such that the first switching element and the first radiation material are positioned within a projection plane of the fan viewed along the longitudinal axis of the first radiation material.
