Zusammenfassung:	Lithium-ion battery electrode assemblies and methods are provided that comprise a winding structure, an immersion failure tape, and a can from the inside to the outside, wherein the winding structure is obtained by winding a layer structure. The layer structure comprises the following components from the inside to the outside: a1) a first separator layer; a2) a first electrode layer; a3) a second separator layer; a4) an expansion tape layer; and a5) a second electrode layer. The first and second electrode layers are different and are respectively selected from the group consisting of cathode layer and anode layer such that the electrode assemblies exhibit at least one of low impedance and good vibration resistance.
