Zusammenfassung:	A mobile device comprises program instructions that, when executed by the control unit (300), cause the mobile device to display (701), via the touch screen, in a mode of regular operation control of a home screen including a content region (150) and a page indicator region (135), a selected page including icons of the home screen in the content region (150). The icons for applications support various functions of the mobile device. The page indicator region (135) includes a plurality of page items corresponding to a plurality of pages of the home screen. In the mode of regular operation control of the home screen, each of the icons displayed in the content region is selectable for execution of a corresponding application. The mobile device enters a home screen editing mode in response to a first user interaction (703) with the touch screen using an icon (510).
