Zusammenfassung:	A method of wirelessly interacting with a materials handling vehicle is described. The method comprises receiving an operator identification of an operator attempting to log onto the vehicle, and verifying, based on the received operator identification, that the operator logging on is authorized to operate the vehicle; a transceiver on the vehicle wirelessly communicates the operator identification to a server computer. A processor obtains information relating the position of the vehicle from at least one device on the vehicle and receives information regarding a geofence from the server computer, where the geofence is selectively defined based upon the operator identification and/or a materials handling vehicle identification. A position of the vehicle relative to the geofence is determined based upon the position and geofence information, and a current operating characteristic of the vehicle is identified. The processor communicates information to at least one component of the vehicle to perform a predetermined action in response to the geofence information and based upon the identified current operating characteristic of the vehicle
