Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a furniture panel (1), comprising a material panel (2) of which one or two panel surfaces is or are coated with (in each case) a panel coating (4) having a surface design (OG) and to at least one narrow face of which at least one edge strip (5) is fastened as narrow face coating, wherein the edge strip (5) has a central portion (6) and, on both sides next to the central portion (6), two outer portions (7) adjoining the panel coatings (4), wherein the outer portions (7) have an outer design (AG) corresponding to at least one surface design (OG), wherein the central portion (6) has a central design (MG) which differs from the outer design (AG). This furniture panel is characterized in that the central portion (6), and preferably also the outer portions (7), consist of coloured, non-transparent plastic, and in that the outer portions (7) each have a width (B1) of less than 3 mm.
