Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an air spring having: - a rolling bellows (1) with an opening which has a bead (2) reinforced by a core and - a rolling piston (4) with a seat for the rolling bellows (1) and a support shoulder for the rolling bellows (1). When the rolling bellows (1) is in the assembled state, the bellows end paired with the rolling piston (4) is connected to the rolling piston (4) in an airtight manner by means of a clamping fit between the bead (2) and the seat of the rolling piston (4), and the bead (2) of the rolling piston (1) is at least partly supported on the support shoulder, said rolling piston (4) being made of a thermoplastic. The aim of the invention is to improve the above type of air spring such that the bellows (1) can reliably and simply be prevented from slipping from the piston (4), in particular in light of the use of plastic as the piston material. This is achieved by providing the rolling piston (4) with an axially protruding, substantially cylindrical securing ring (8) on the seat for the rolling bellows (1), said securing ring protruding axially outwards beyond the bead (2) of the rolling bellows (1) after the rolling bellows (1) has been mounted on the seat and being plastifiable by an at least partial heating process and, in the plastified state, deformable radially outwards beyond the bead (2) of the rolling bellows (1) by means of a shaping punch such that the bead (2) is at least partly surrounded by the deformed securing ring (8).
