Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a reinforcing rod (1) for insertion in a concrete matrix, having at least one filament bundle (2), made from a plurality of filaments, running in the longitudinal extent (X) of the rod, wherein the filaments are at least in sections, preferably completely, embedded in a plastics matrix (16), and the reinforcing rod (1) has elevations (3) spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal extent (X) of the reinforcing rod (1) and recesses (4) spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal extent (X) of the reinforcing rod (1). The reinforcing rod (1) according to the invention is characterised in that at least two recesses (4) spaced apart in said longitudinal extent (X) have a different alignment in the circumferential direction of the reinforcing rod (1).
